This project is a pixel art landscape I created in my high school digital art class . It was part of a unit focused on developing pixel art skills, and I used it as an opportunity to explore mood and color. I created this piece using Adobe Photoshop, working pixel-by-pixel with tools like the pencil tool to maintain a clean, blocky style.
One of my main creative decisions was the color palette. I aimed for a moody atmosphere while using bright, saturated colors to give it a retro feel, particularly in the sunset sky. I also simplified shapes to stay true to the pixel art style.
The final piece effectively captures the mood I intended and meets the goal of demonstrating my pixel art skills and creating an aesthetic looking landscape scene.
I’m currently seeking opportunities to gain hands-on UX experience and contribute to meaningful, user-centered projects.
